2023 FIXTURES NOW AVAILABLE ON THEIR PAGE

Only 5 weeks until we can hopefully be back on the grass.
The green is looking good and after a deep scarify,
it may have a little extra speed – we’ll see.
If the grounds men are happy with the green and
weather is kind, then we’re hoping to open the green
on Sunday 23rd April.
We’ll confirm nearer the time after consulting Scott the
grounds man.
Two dates for your diary – We’re planning a welcome
back afternoon on Sunday 30th April, for everyone to
be down at the green and we’ll do something similar to
the “Drive” (with refreshments) where we all get a
chance to play with different folk and catch up our news
during the afternoon.

The Monday Drive
This is your chance to meet up and play with different bowlers, practise your best shots, have a bit of a natter and be gently competitive.
We know there will be occasional same day clashes with matches in two of the leagues – it can’t be avoided.
With 16 potential Monday Drives till early September, there’s plenty of opportunity to get more than six scores in.
Andrea and Andrew will be organising each week.
If we’ve got your mobile number, then should the weather be so inclement as to need to cancel, we’ll aim to get a simple text out in good time.
Its not essential to play every week just turn up when you can. Open to everyone, it is a fun game 18 ends with a possible tea break, but the rules must be adhered to:
CARDS WILL BE DRAWN AT 1.45 ANYONE ARRIVING AFTER 1.45 WILL NOT BE INCLUDED so best to be there at 1.30
